DIY Waterproof Organic Gel Eyeliner: Eye liner was first used in  Ancient Egypt  and  Mesopotamia  as a dark black line around the eyes. As early as 10,000 BC, Egyptians and Mesopotamians wore various cosmetics including eyeliner not only for aesthetics but to protect the skin from the desert sun. Research has also speculated that eye liner was worn to protect the wearer from the  evil eye (Google). I am a big fan of gel eyeliners. I always tried a lot of methods and did a bunch of experiments to make my own waterproof gel eyeliner. YouTube videos were always my tutors. But unfortunately I failed every time. I remember once I watched a video and did same procedure as the girl said by adding activated charcoal into oil and aloe Vera gel. It was a complete wastage of time and money as it was neither waterproof nor a proper gel eyeliner. It immediately stuck on my upper lid once I opened my eyes after its application. So I decided to try my own kind of ingredients
